Mississippi Music began distributing guitars in 1975. "Eagle" was a brand they put on the headstock of many guitars they sold. This particular model is a very well built set neck copy of a Gibson semi hollow body. The finish is great and by the weight (7.5lbs) I would guess Mahogany construction. The notched speed knobs are the same ones found on the Ibanez, Electra, and other guitars that came out of the Fujigen factory in Japan.
