1967 Fender Echo Reverb II Year: 1967 Brand: Fender Model: Echo Reverb II Class: Echo-Delay Owner: Jeff Hewitt Status: in the process of being repaired.
Fender introduced the echo-reverb ,their second echo, in 1966, the Echo-Reverb. Its controls were not as versatile as their Tape EEC of 1963. They store sound on a rotating metal-coated disc in conjunction with an insulating oil, a system Fender licensed from Tel-Ray. These systems are generally know as the Tel-Ray "oil can" echo or adineko. They remained in the Fender line until 1970.
