A killer vintage Martin acoustic that needed a bit of work. Someone added the electronics from a 60's Harmony; dearmond gold foil pickup, pots, knobs, and jack.
There was a giant aluminum jack plate that seemed way out of place, but after removal it was obvious they used it to hide damage to the side.
The split in the side was repaired and an appropriate sized jack plate was installed.
The dearmond pick up install was loose, so new screws were added along with springs for versatility. The guitar was then adjusted and setup with new strings. Afterwards a K&K soundboard pick up and end pin jack was installed along side the dearmond at the owners request.
