This unit had significant noise. Everything on the internet says this unit is the same as the Vox "v9158" 15R except with reverb, it's nothing like it. Every thing about it is different, op amps to the tremolo (the 9158 uses an optocoupler, this model is IC based). After looking at the circuit I decided to shield the rear wooden panel then relocate and shield the lines to the reverb. The reverb send and receive lines were tie wrapped with the power lines from the transformer. This seemed to quite the unit a bit. I'm not sure the unit is as quiet as the v9158's I've heard, but it does far better now.
