John was having an issue with this amp cutting out. While this is not an uncommon issue this solid state Vox amps, this one was a bit different. You would usually expect this to occur due to power issues or thermal loading of the transistors. In this case the issue was extremely random, which is fairly odd for either of the two conditions above.
