This is a clone of the classic Mosrite FuzzRITE.
I built this circuit on perf board from original schematic. The original effect used two TZ82 transistors, a Silicon NPN Low-Power BJT. They can be a bit hard to find now days.
I picked up a few transistors to substitute from a local supplier. I decided on two metal can 2n2222A transistors. I socketed the transistors so I can always swap them out for a pair of TZ82's.
