This is a clone of the Arbiter Silicon Fuzz Face using the original schematic, not the reissue.
My local supplier didn't have any of BC108 transistors, but they did have some BC109Cs.
The BC109C transistors are fairly high gain and at full "fuzz" cause oscillation. I am debating changing Q1 to a transistor with a lower HFE like a BC169.
With a pair of BC109C's .... this thing is a monster.
