2009 Hewitt's Garage Vintage Tremolo Inquire below about this Build.
Year: 2009 Brand: Hewitt's Garage Model: Vintage Tremolo Class: Tremolo Owner: Terry Flood
This is a Vintage Style tremolo designed to be comparable with the Fulltone Supatrem.
This unit sports individual adjustments for Rate and Depth, Switches and Indicators for Speed, Style and Bypass.
This tremolo effect can go very deep. Tremolo is a subtractive effect by nature, so generally a volume drop is perceived. The deeper the Tremolo the more of a volume drop. To compensate for this I added a JFET boost to the post stage of the pedal, the adjustment for this is labeled Volume.
The general Tremolo effect of this unit is achieved by shorting the audio signal to the ground by means of an LDR.

You can listen to a sample of this tremolo here.
Please note this mp3 is 12mb and may take time to download. This sample was recorded using my "Westmeinster Telecaster" (bridge pickup only) through a VOX Cambridge V9320 amp. The only effect in the chain is the HG "Vintage Tremolo" pedal.
