This is a telecaster Phill picked up off craigslist. Phillip has never been a fan of a "burst" paint job especially a poor relic, but the price was right.
He decided he wanted to refinish it in a vintage color, sea breeze. So he went to town sanding and priming. After numerous coats of color and a few shots of clear the finish was color sanded and buffed. Phill opted for a more vintage style worn finish instead of a super gloss.
The neck was in pretty good condition, but the tuning machines were crap and Phill wanted a different headstock logo. He decided on a set of the Gotoh vintage inline tuners.
As for the electronics, the stock switch and pickups were retained. The volume and tone pots were replaced with a pair of 250k "Fender" noload's.
